First Set of Rules

I am going to start this endeavor by as of today no longer purchasing anything that is not an immediate need ie; produce or sanitary products. I will first use up all of my current supplies before I will pay money for anything...no matter how good the price is. Besides produce I don't foresee the need to go shopping anytime soon.


Exercising has begun as of yesterday. I am house sitting this week and thankfully I have to take the dog for a walk 2x a day. We jogged/walked yesterday and I realized that she doesn't pull as hard when we are jogging. Today we went for a short walk but tomorrow morning before I get ready for work we are going to go for a jog. I think Rosie is a good workout partner! I also have my Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred DVD with me. I plan on doing that after I take Rosie for a jog in the evenings.


I want to primarily focus on these two things for the next two weeks. On August 15, I will begin to take steps to make our house more energy efficient and I will begin to only buy my groceries at farmer's markets and in loose bulk sections. More on that later though.

  1. Wishing you good luck. Will miss group workout tonight but will do something solo - maybe my new pilates video I have had for 2 weeks and it's still in the wrapper.
